VMware Experts Program Cork Ireland Montage Video
This is the newest video on the VMware Experts Program Cork Ireland. For some years VMware has gathered Oracle, and SQL Server experts from around the globe brought them into a VMware office for a deep dive on using vSphere as a platform for database virtualization. These experts get educated on the inner workings of vSphere and Oracle. At the VMware Experts Program Cork Ireland, Oracle was the database platform, and Pure Storage supplied the storage array.
This latest program focused on the Oracle database. For a number of years, I have worked behind the scenes to help put this program on. This has also enabled me to attend all the workshops both Oracle and SQL Server, were at each event I am able to fine tune my skills on Database Virtualization.? Special thanks goes out to the Oracle Database Community for all their help and support on identify candidates suitable for this program. Special thanks to Pure Storage who provided the storage array. At each VMware Experts Program? we challenge the attendees to try and make the Pure Storage Array break a sweat. Its amazing how easily the Pure Storage array anticipates the needs of the workload and handles it with very little effort.
One of the more interesting presentations? each year for the VMware Oracle workshop is the Licensing Oracle on vSphere. This year Dean Bolton from LicenseFortress and David Welch from HOB both presented. Dean and David are considered the foremost experts on Licensing Oracle on VMware.
