VMware Expert Database Workshop for SQL Server Video and More
The 2nd Elite VMware Database workshop for Microsoft SQL Server was held at VMware world headquarters in Palo, Alto, California from April 21 to April 23, 2015. This event is where VMware brings SQL Server experts to Pal Alto (VMware HQ) from around the U.S.? to learn more about the capabilities of virtualizing a Micrososft SQL Server database on vSphere. Tintri provided the storage array for this workshop. In this video you will hear some of the impressions gathered from the different SQL Server experts and also a quick glimpse into what it was like to attend this workshop.

I was lucky enough to attend both workshops and work with people like Don Sullivan (@dfsulliv), David Klee (@kleegeek) in helping to put this SQL Server workshop on vSphere on. I took it upon myself the be the photographer for the event and you will see some of my pictures at the end of the video.
The Storage array Vendor for this event was Tintri. They were awesome. I know everyone of the SQL Server experts were impressed by the capabilities of Tintri Storage. Let me say it again, the Support and Performance we received from Tintri at this workshop was outstanding. Tintri and VMware are a great combination if you intend to virtualize your business critical applications like Microsoft SQL Server.
