VMworld 2015 Day 1
The VMworld conference is already off to a great start. The vendor hall was packed every time I stopped by. In the speaker ready room I ran into quite a few people that if you are serious about Database Virtualization you should know.
From Left to Right.
Marlin McNeil – Managing Partner of the Yucca Group, Scott Salyer – Director, Enterprise Application Architecture, VMware, Don Sullivan – Product Line Marketing Manager for Business Critical Applications, Vmware, Michael Corey – President Ntirety – A Division of HOSTING and David Klee – Founder & Chief Architect Heraflux Technologies.
I am lucky to know these people. We collaborate a lot between us on the Virtualization of Business Critical Applications like a database.
In the Vendor Hall, I ran into the Kannan Mani – Staff Solutions Architect Data Platforms, VMware. Kannan and Don Sullivan pictured below. If I were to create a Business Critical Applications Dream team, these people would all be part of the team.
You see for yourself just how busy the vendor floor is. Don Sullivan and Kannan Mani wrote the Virtualizing Oracle Database on vSphere book. They are both great technologist and great people to know. Its been a great first day.
